"Penny" won many blue cards at
Championship Shows when young, but she didn't really enjoy
showing so we didn't persist. Her talents lay elsewhere as
she was superb brood bitch. Not only was she in her element
caring for puppies, didn't matter if they were hers or not,
but she produced outstanding progeny.
Five of her babies were shown and of these four became U.K.
Champions. The fifth was a consistent Championship Show
winner until she suffered a back injury.
We now have a line of three
consecutive bitch Champions descending down from Golden
Girl. She was sired by that wonderful West Country stud,
Amberland Black Sabre. He also sired Superkay many years
earlier and she was the dam of our first Champion, Ch
Gatchells Sky at Night.
